starting to feel like home...

So for the last couple of weeks I've been doing some decorating and getting some things for the house so it doesn't look so empty. I put pictures up on the walls, got some new rugs and yesterday I bought some Halloween decorations :] Nothing much, just some window clings, a black cat, and some tea light holders. Oh! And I bought this really cool candy bowl for when the kids come trick-or-treating...it's the same one my parents have actually (the one that has a hand in the middle that moves down when you put your hand in the bowl) :] it still startles me even though I know what it's going to do lol. I also bought some curtains for the front room, but I need to wait till Luke gets here to help me put them up since we don't have a power drill at the moment. I still haven't gotten my kitchen table delivered yet (it might not get here for a couple more weeks, but that's ok) and we decided to wait to get living room furniture after Luke gets here. We need bedroom furniture too since I've been sleeping on an air mattress for the last 2 + months and I'm losing sleep cuz of it too. That will be fun to go shopping for those things with him :] I can't wait till we have everything we need to make this house a home! Then we can have people over and they will have somewhere to sit and be entertained. I'll put pics up after we get everything all put together and arranged how I want it.

Just 5 more days and he will be here!! I have a feeling that time will drag on until he gets here...it always does when I'm expecting something good to happen and I want the time to fly. Every time. oh well, I'll just have to keep myself busy, then maybe the time will go by faster :] Anyway, I should go find something to eat for lunch now so ttyl!
