what could be better?

Yesterday I awoke to this:
Breakfast in bed! New Mexican style ha ha :) Breakfast burritos and juice (in a fancy glass even!) and a beautiful rose! What a sweetie my Lucas is to me! He tried to get me a plant too (cuz I always say that plants make people happy ha ha), but the nursery was closed so we went today and I picked out this plant:It's so pretty! and it doesn't stink either (good or bad). I just have to remember to water it every other day.

We had steak and corn for dinner (I made the stake on the stovetop and it turned out pretty good). Overall it was a nice relaxing day. I took a 4 hr nap too (which was GREAT!), but that meant that I couldn't fall asleep when it was time for bed so I stayed up and did some painting in the baby's room. It's almost finished! Here's what I've done so far:
Just have to touch up the stars that I've painted so far and finish the stripes and stars on the last wall(s)! I LOVE how it has turned out so far! Can't wait until I'm all done and then I can put the furniture back in here :) I'm really proud of my accomplishment with this project!

Well, I hope everyone had a very happy Valentine's Day! Have an awesome President's Day too (not sure what people do on this holiday other than go shopping or chill at home but oh well ha ha). Later!
