Can you believe that just 4 months ago I was in the hospital giving birth to my sweet little man? I sure can't!! He is doing really well as far as we know. He loves to talk/screech now. He definitely sounds more like a Pterodactyl than a human baby sometimes ha ha. But we still love him :)

As far as his growth is concerned he is over 16 lbs according to our scale at home and I'm not sure how long he is. We have his 4 month appointment scheduled for the 31st so I'll give you all an update after that.
Anyway, in recent Carlos news, he has learned to roll over as of the 18th of this month! It started out that he would roll from his back to his tummy and then I saw him roll from his tummy back onto his back too! He did it over and over for about an hour one day and now he has decided that since I want to get it on film he won't do it anymore (the brat!). So what do you do when your kid is being stubborn? Place the camera on a table, press record and then leave the room! And that's just what I did and it worked! He had been rolling over from his back to his tummy a lot yesterday morning so I decided to give it a try. Here's the proof!

I posted the shorter video since the original had about a min of him just playing with his toy on his back before he rolled over. I wanted to cut to the chase :)
Some more Carlos news is he is also starting to sit up on his own a little better. He would rather stand up though so it makes it a little difficult to convince him to sit. Good thing he likes his toys because they make for great distractions! He also LOVES his Daddy :) For some reason I'm just not nearly as funny as Luke is. Luke can get him to do the biggest giggles just by looking at him sometimes. I have to work at it a bit more ha ha. He is super ticklish on his sides, his back and under his chin (and pretty ticklish on his feet too) so I like to do that to him, but in moderation since he gets the hiccups if tickled too much ha ha. I have a video of Luke and Carlos playing, but I'll have to get a better one since he's not giggling nearly as much as he normally does.

What a goofball! I sure love this kid! He makes my day everyday and I love his sweet spirit :) I can't imagine our lives without him! I wish I could just freeze time so that I can enjoy him more when he's little, before he starts getting into trouble :P But at the same time I'm excited to watch him grow and learn to do even more new things! I love you little man!

He is such a cutie! That's too funny that he rolled over once you left the room.... Trey still is being stubborn and seems to have no desire to roll. Oh well... soon enough I'm sure. It's so funny to read the things he does because so much of it sounds just like Trey. :) Babies are the best aren't they!?
They really are the best :) Don't worry, Trey will soon discover how much fun it is to roll over..and then he'll be mad until you roll him back ha ha. Carlos doesn't enjoy being on his tummy for long the goob. Someday he'll master rolling back onto his back I'm sure. It's fun reading about what other people with babies his age are doing and how similar they all are :)
