Sorry for the long gap between posts...

So moving across the country has proven to take alot longer than we had hoped.  Here is a tiny taste of what has happened over the last 3 months (I will do separate posts for each month later to include pics).

August:
We moved out of our place in Mililani at the very end of the month and started staying in Base Lodging for a couple nights.

September:
We ended up not staying in Base Lodging for long as our room had a huge leak in it and flooded most of the room (it smelled HORRIBLE!)  The only other room they had available was the one above us and that is where the water was coming from, so we were moved to the Hale Koa Hotel in Downtown Waikiki :)  While we were there we made it to the Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium.  We also had our goodbye dinner/ my Birthday party at Red Lobster on the 10th as that was our last weekend there.  We flew out of Hawaii late on the 12th and arrived in LA super early on the 13th.  Luckily we planned ahead and had our car shipped out early enough that it was there before we even left the island.  So we picked it up and headed down to San Diego to visit Luke's Uncle Kevin and Aunt Cindy for a few days.  We of course went to the San Diego Zoo (on my Birthday even) and Uncle Kevin took us to Old Town San Diego and to Ocean Beach and a couple other little towns on the coast.  We had a blast staying with them!  Our next stop was Las Vegas where we spent 2 nights just relaxing and did a little shopping too.  On our way to St. George we stopped at the Lied Discovery Children's Museum for a couple hours.  Carlos loved exploring the museum!  We stayed the night in St. George with my sister, Jessica and her hubby, Todd.  We visited my Grandma Karen and my Aunt Michelle and her fam while we were there too.  The next day we headed up North to Roy to stay with my Mom.  While we were staying with Mom we went to the Hogle Zoo and the Living Planet Aquarium.  We got to visit a couple of Luke's friends while we were there too and I got to see my friend Cammie too!  I hadn't seen her since the beginning of the year when they moved back to the mainland.  It was so great seeing her!  Mom, my Aunt Sandy, her daughter Ashton and myself went to a What Women Want expo in Sandy, UT one Saturday and I got an TON of cute and awesome things there!  I will have to keep my eyes open for more things like that in the future. Also during the stay with Mom, Luke had been filling out lots of paperwork for the GA job in hopes that he gets the job and that we find out soon. More on that later.
And that about sums up September.

October:
We left UT on the 3rd and stopped in Cortez, CO for the night before getting into Albuquerque on the 4th.  We have been here ever since just visiting family and waiting on a job to come up for Luke.  Luckily our wait ended a week or so after we got here as ATI called him and told him he got the job!  He will be starting on 21 Nov.  Once we found out he got the job we started looking for a place to live and decided that our best option was to purchase a home instead of rent one out.  Luke found my Dream Home so to speak and it is going to be brand new!  We are just waiting on it to be built and it should be done before the New Year!!!!!!  I'll get more details on it the closer it gets to us moving.  In the meantime we planned Luke's little sister, Brittany's 15th b-day party (Halloween themed) and then had a Family Halloween party the next day.  Both parties were lots and lots of fun.  Carlos was a Dog this year and I dressed up as a Peacock.  Luke was himself, but scarier and harrier too (he has been growing out his facial hair and his hair on his head too.  Let's just say he looks like a hobo right now and I'm not too fond of the look.) We didn't go Trick-Or-Treating this year since I felt Carlos didn't need loads of candy yet (especially since we had leftovers from lack of trick-or-treaters).  And there's October in a nutshell.

November:
So far this month we have been busy getting ready to buy a home.  We are super excited about the home.  Luke picked the location and it is going to be under 15min away from his job which is a big plus for him.  It is in a brand new community too which is great.  The only downside is that the construction on our home hasn't started yet, so Carlos and I are going to be staying here in Albuquerque until it is almost finished.  That means that Luke will be out there all by himself for Thanksgiving and possibly Christmas (unless he get's it off).  He left today to go see his brother Sean for a couple days in Omaha, NE before heading to GA to start his job on the 21st.  I miss him sooooo soooo much already!  It was hard to not cry when he left, but I didn't want Carlos to see me get upset and then get upset too.  I'm just waiting for him to cry for Luke.  That's gonna be tough, but we'll get through it.  I am so so grateful for Luke's family and for them to open up their home to us so we have somewhere to stay for a little while. Family is awesome, and don't you forget it!!  To keep my mind off of Luke being gone we are going to be going on a little road trip this weekend to Tucson, AZ to visit some of Luke's extended family that I haven't met yet.  Here's hoping Carlos does well on the 5-6 hr drive over there.  Today we had Carlos' 18 month check up as well.  He's doing well.  Still tiny, but he's healthy.  He is FINALLY just over 20lbs! lol.  He is almost 32in tall now which means he's still a shorty, but that's ok.  I'm just glad that he is growing, even though he's been really picky with his food lately.  It's like pulling teeth to get him to eat anything now the brat!  But I will be persistent and hope for the best. :)

Anyway, I promise I will start getting pics up, but just be patient with me (that means you, Dad! lol).   Hope everyone is well and happy!  Love you oodles!

Nicole and fam :)
