The drive from Albuquerque to Grovetown

The drive from Albuquerque to Grovetown was a LOOONNG one.  I am so grateful to Luke's Mom and Grandma for taking Carlos and I on this trip.  Even if Carlos didn't make it a very pleasant one for most of the drive.  Once we got to Grovetown we checked into a hotel room (as our house wasn't finished just yet) and the next day Luke took us to see the River Walk in downtown Augusta.  These are a couple pics we took while we were down there.

After we closed on the house (really really late on Dec 30 I might add...we waiting in the Lawyer's office for over an hour before we were actually seen.  We didn't get the keys until almost 11pm that night...) we got settled in just long enough to leave to visit Bea and Tom Scott in North Carolina for New Year's.  But first, a post about our house that we bought.

The rest of October (through Christmas) was spent in New Mexico with Luke's family while we were waiting on a job for Luke.  Here's what we did during the rest of the month.
